Class Appraisal has recently brought a new Senior Vice President of Valuation Transformation and Engagement on board, in the form of Fannie Mae vet Julie Jones.
Jones brings 18 years of experience to this position, having begun in real estate and appraisal, and retaining her certification as a residential appraiser to this day. More recently, Jones led outreach for Fannie Mae as a member of their Collateral Policy and Strategy Team, a national review appraiser, and a subject matter expert for Collateral Underwriter.
Scot Rose, Class Appraisal’s Chief Innovation Officer, said in the press release: “The company is strategically investing in industry veterans that can help shape the future of the valuation industry, and Julie is an important part of that effort. In her new role, Julie will help develop innovative solutions and facilitate market adoption of those solutions through training, education, and engagement with stakeholders.”
In Jones’s own words, “[Class Appraisal’s] new Innovation Organization will focus on much needed research and development in the valuation space. … I’m very excited to get started and help spearhead that change.”
Class Appraisal has been moving rapidly since the acquisition. Jones will be an excellent addition to the firm’s cadre of experts. Rose and his team, with Jones’s expertise added to the mix, are likely to do some very interesting things.
